Connect with fellow Tamils and feel at home in the Midlands. We assist newcomers to settle in the greater Columbia region, and host events and activities that celebrate our language, arts, and community.
We are a non-profit, tax-exempt organization devoted to the people of the Midlands in South Carolina who have interest in Tamil language and culture. Founded from an informal gathering in April 2005 and established formally in December 2008, we now conduct Tamil classes for kids, organize family picnics, and support classical arts through annual cultural programs.
Started in April 2005 celebrating Tamil New Year; formalized in December 2008 to serve the growing Tamil community.
Regular classes for kids nurture language fluency, cultural literacy, and pride in Tamil heritage.
We showcase local talent and host distinguished scholars and artists for close interaction and inspiration.
We organize festivals, games, and cultural activities to keep our roots alive. These gatherings refresh body and mind and create a welcoming space for networking and mutual support.
